End of Year Announcements

-      A Bake sale to benefit the Nursery School will be held on Monday December 6^th, Tuesday December 7 and Wednesday December 8.  The Board of Trustees is looking for families to volunteer to bake and work the sale.  Sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board between classrooms A and B.  You may also send an email to sberg@spcns.org to let us know about your interest to help out.

-      Mrs. Christman’s Two-Year Old classes will have a small Holiday Celebration.  The Monday/Wednesday Two’s will have their celebration on Wednesday December 15.  The Tuesday/Thursday Two’s will celebrate on Thursday December 16.

-      Our annual “Christmas Sing” for Three-, Four- and Five-Year-Old children will be held on Friday December 17.  Children arrive by 9:00.  The event will start at 9:30.  Parents, grandparents and guests are welcome.

-      Christmas Vacation will begin immediately following the Christmas Sing.

-      School will resume on Tuesday January 4.

-      If school must be cancelled for any reason, your child’s teacher will call you and you will receive an email from the school.   Also, SPCNS cancellations are broadcast on KDKA radio (1020 AM) and on KDKA-TV (Channel 2), as well as on WPXI (Channel 11) and WPEX (Channel 4).  As a general rule, please note that SPCNS will be CLOSED if the Pittsburgh Public Schools are either CLOSED or DELAYED. 

-      Second Semester begins on January 18^th, 2011.  Tuition bills will be mailed out at the beginning of January. Payment will be due no later than February 1^st.  Verification of tuition payments (for tax purposes) for the year 2010 will be mailed out by March 1^st.

Christmas Wreaths are Here!!

Hello to all and Happy Holidays!

We are grateful for your support of SPCNS and are happy to say that the wreaths are ready for pickup.  You may pick up your order at SPCNS Monday November 29 and Tuesday November 30th during pick up (9am) and drop off (noon)  -or-  church members may also pick up in the Sharp Atrium on Sunday December 5th during fellowship.  We will also have extras for sale.
