IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ AND SHARE WITH ANYONE WHO BRINGS YOUR CHILD TO NURSERY SCHOOL
OR PICKS UP YOUR CHILD AFTER SCHOOL
The new entrance to the Nursery School is nearing completion, and we anticipate being able to use it beginning Monday, November 1, 2010. Additionally, beginning the same week we will be locking and unlocking these doors during the morning to ensure the security of the building. The Parish Hall doors which you have been using to enter/exit will remain locked at all times. Below is a detailed description of our new procedures which will allow for safe and secure entry/exiting.
ARRIVAL
Nursery School families may enter the building through the main church entrance located on Westminster Place at any time during the school day. Please ring the buzzer, and then a church assistant will open the door for you. You may come downstairs via either the new stairway or the elevator to reach the Nursery School level.
Nursery School families may enter the building through the new doors from 8:50 am until 9:20 am only. Beginning on Monday, November 1, 2010 these new front doors will be locked at 9:20 am, and they will remain closed for entry until 11:50 am (see below). If you arrive at the nursery school after these doors have been locked, you will have to enter the building through the main church entrance as noted above. You may exit through these doors at any time during the school day, as the new doors do allow for exiting whether or not they are locked from the outside.
DISMISSAL
Parents and caregivers may enter the building through the new doors from 11:45 am until 12:15 pm only. If you need to enter the nursery school before or after these times, you will have to enter through the main church entrance located on Westminster Place as noted above. These new front doors will also be unlocked at the end of Lunch Bunches (at 12:50 pm) and Wonderful Wednesday (at 2:20 pm).
Parents/caregivers coming to pick up children from the Two-year-old classes at 11:30 am will need to use the main church entrance to enter the building.
As always, the safety of your children is of utmost importance to us. We believe that the new procedures will enhance our ability to keep your children safe and secure while they are in our care. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in adhering to the new policies and for your patience in dealing with any inconveniences which may result from their implementation.
Sincerely,
Mary E. Lang
